First established in 1984, The Comics Shop was Adelaide’s first shop devoted entirely to comics.

Now, like the Marvel and DC universes, this iconic vault of goodies has rebooted into a new and improved incarnation as Gamma Rays Comics.

The shop pays homage to a vintage era of comics – a time of technological marvels and kick-arse knee high boots when anything was possible. At Gamma Rays, we blend today’s reads with yesterday’s vibe.

New owner, Ian, lives his nerdy childhood dream of talking comics with comic lovers surrounded by mountains of – you guessed it – comics! Ask him anything and he’ll go out of his way to help you.
